On this Good Friday, I want to begin by offering warm Easter wishes to you. However you observe the season, may it bring a renewed sense of peace and purpose. As the Easter weekend approaches, we want to take a moment to wish each of you a joyous and meaningful Easter celebration. For many, this time coincides with Ramadan, Holi, Passover, and the Spring equinox. Easter is a time that holds deep significance for many in our community. It is a time when we reflect on the values of love, compassion, and forgiveness, and the profound message of redemption and hope that Easter brings us. It feels especially timely to talk about renewal - not just spiritual, but professional. The world around us is swirling with uncertainty, and yet within that swirl, I believe we're standing at a powerful inflection point. As pharmacists, clinicians, and healthcare professionals, we have an opportunity to lean into what's new, without letting go of what's proven. I've found myself increasingly curious about how technology - and even AI - are being used in pharmacies around the world. From workflow automation and inventory tracking to smarter patient communication and predictive tools, there's a quiet revolution underway - and it's happening alongside, not instead of, the care that's been tried and true for generations. Technology doesn't have to replace the human touch that defines our profession. It can support it. It can amplify our efforts, reduce errors, streamline operations, and give us back the time and clarity we need to focus on what matters most – our patients, our people, and our purpose. What's most exciting to me is the variety of ways people are approaching this. Some are diving into AI-powered tools for compounding accuracy. Others are experimenting with new software to personalize adherence plans. And many are simply asking better questions: How can this help? Where does this make sense? What could we do better with the tools now available to us? I'm genuinely interested to know - have you been hesitant to explore where AI or new technologies might fit into your work? Or have you already started experimenting with different methods, new processes, or digital tools to make your pharmacy stronger? Let us know your thoughts or answers, and I encourage you to keep asking, keep quality, and keep learning. We're not alone and we're not without options. This season, as we celebrate renewal and resilience, may we also embrace curiosity as a guide toward what's next. Wishing you a peaceful Easter weekend - and an inspired season ahead. Respectfully,
Thomas C. Kupiec, Ph.D.
