Subscribers to the International Journal of Pharmaceutical Compounding (IJPC) have long taken advantage of our compounding themed archives – groupings of published articles organized around specific specialties such as veterinary, hazardous materials, or another of the 14 themed categories offered. These archives are a great way for new subscribers to ‘catch-up’ with access to previously published content and to focus their subscription on their needs.

These archives have been distributed as searchable PDF files, first via CD media, then as downloadable files. The archives could be searched for needed content and used to print or read by your PDF reading program. Nice for the time, but this still required keeping track of the CD media or downloaded files, and performing a separate search from your online IJPC subscriptions. But now, with near universal high-speed internet access and CD drives going the way of the Dodo bird, it is time for upgrades.

Now, subscribers to the Journal may access any article included in a purchased themed archive online, along with their current IJPC subscription. After logging in, archived articles appear with the PDF download icon any time they appear in a keyword search result, an issue listing, or in the listing of themed contents. The article may be viewed in browser, printed for later use, or saved to your local drive for reference. We hope these changes will make IJPC.com more usable as well as save time locating and using the older media files. Please let us know if you agree!
