He compiled this encyclopedia to help explain and clarify nutritional information for both consumers and health-care professionals, making it accessible and manageable. The encyclopedia is arranged in alphabetical order, from A to zinc, and includes a user-friendly index. It explains, in understandable terms, the functions of vitamins and minerals, nutrients, hormones, organ systems, cells and molecules, body functions, food ingredients, food allergies, nonfood additives, herbs, diseases, health problems and more. It covers a wide variety of topics about nutrition and good health. It is easy to use and is a great reference to have in the pharmacy, as well as in the home.
