Whose Comfort Zone Are You In? How to lead the life you want and be happy every day!

Marilyn Sherman
Stay Focused Seminars,

If you are feeling down in the dumps about your business or want to motivate your staff, this is the book for you!

Author, motivational speaker and President of Stay Focused Seminars, Marilyn Sherman is an inspirational woman. I met her at a National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) conference. NAWBO, I might add, is an excellent organization in which women pharmacists should consider getting involved and is an excellent referral source. The great thing about NAWBO is that you meet women who are potential clients, as well as women who provide services that can help your business. In this case, I met Marilyn Sherman. Her talk was inspirational and her book is an extension of her lecture. She can motivate just about anyone. She focuses on goal setting, overcoming obstacles, self-esteem and visualizing success. The comfort zone is where you are in your everyday life, “that comfortable place where you live, breathe, and eat…your place of safety and security…the place where familiarity is like a warm blanket wrapped around you.” She goes on to explain that “when you live in your comfort zone, you may be safe and comfortable, but you’re not growing or expanding your life experiences. You eventually become stifled, immobilized and discouraged.” This applies to life and to business. Her book can help you define your comfort zone so that the changes you make will be integrated into personal and professional growth, your work and your lifestyle. If you are feeling down in the dumps about your business, this is the book for you. It is for those who want to “develop a sense of bravery in their lives and make their secret dreams come true.”
